On the sole of the feet of a Geckos there are approx. billion ' spatulae '. These are approximate small adhering

hair, 200 nanometres in the width and in the length. These hair used the Gecko in direct physical contact with its climate. They sit in a three part, hierarchical-ordered adhering system on ' setae, ', those approximately tenths, which are diameters of a human hair, long themselves approximately 100 micrometers and six micrometers far. The setae lies in a row and forms those together for lamellas, which, with 400 to 600 micrometers in the length, are visible to the bright eye.
