oh yeah...

just remembered I met this dude last night from Akron in the bar, he overheard me talking about the Black Keys, we started talking about music, and then all of a sudden my worldview was shattered -

he. had. never. heard. of. Devo!

when I got incredulous and started re-enacting the Whip It video he was like "oh, yeah", but he had no concept they were a decent rock and roll band.

I thought everyone loved Devo, especially the state of Ohio.
